A social dog is a happy dog.

At five months old your dog needs to understand the fundamentals of etiquette at home and out in the community. It’s vital that young pups are taught basic socialisation skills so they’re well behaved when going on walks around the neighbourhood or romping through the dog park.

There are so many distractions for your dog: new sights, sounds and ‘calling-signs’ from other animals. It can be difficult at times to rein in your dog under the guise of ‘pack behaviour.’

DogTech® International conducts Group Classes for dogs aged 17 weeks (five months) and older, where we introduce your dog to structured obedience and socialisation.

Our dog behavioural specialists teach your dog the fundamental principles of community etiquette and safety over three weeks (one hour a week) in a fun and engaging way.

At each class, a team member provides direct-instructional techniques, using a hands-on approach that allows you to understand the way dogs think, communicate and respond. You’ll gain the confidence and knowledge you need when you’re out and about with your dog.

DogTech® has been one of Australia’s premier dog behavioural specialists for over 25 years, and our unique and gentle WhisperWise® methodology remains at the forefront of dog training.

We’re passionate about making sure you enjoy a long, happy life with your family dog.
