When Koffy’s owner, Karen, first reached out to DogTech, her life had been turned upside down by fear and uncertainty. For almost four years, her dog’s biting and aggression escalated, leaving the family scared and desperate for help. “I was living in fear in my own house and was terrified he would turn at any given moment,” Karen shared. The breaking point came when Koffy bit their 18-year-old daughter, leading to severe consequences. “My daughter was bitten on her right hand, and it got infected. She needed two surgeries and months of recovery. She couldn’t write during her HSC trials and needed a scribe,” they explained. “Everyone was ready to put him down. I figured he was too unpredictable, and I was scared of him.”

I don’t think I realised how much stress and anxiety it was causing me until it went.”
As Koffy began to feel safer and more secure, his behaviour shifted. “Richard’s method has helped control Koffy’s anxiety, and he is able to feel safe and secure in his environment,” Karen explained.

Through ongoing support from Richard, the owner is building a stronger bond with Koffy. “I feel I am on a journey together with Richard and Koffy. I know Koffy is starting to rebuild trust in me again,” she said. “With Richard’s expert guidance, I’m confident I’ll have a happy dog who no longer feels the need to bite me.”

Reflecting on their journey since September, Karen shared her optimism: “In three months, I’ve already achieved a better relationship with Koffy.
