Willow’s Journey: From Anxious Puppy to Thriving Companion with DogTech

When Willow, a 3-month-old Golden Retriever, joined her new family, they quickly realised that her behaviour would require some guidance. As her owner shared, Willow was attacking my feet, jumping on me, barking at me, and she was always highly strung, anxious and constantly scratching.” This wasn’t the start they had envisioned with their furry companion.

Feeling overwhelmed but committed to helping Willow, they turned to Richard from DogTech after researching online.

    Building Confidence and Trust

Richard’s initial assessment identified Willow’s challenges. He explained, “Willow needed to work on her confidence within our family. She is extremely intelligent and stubborn, and turning her behaviour around was going to take time and effort.” Encouraged by this insight, the family decided to trust the process and fully commit.

“We see Willow as an investment, so we decided to trust and commit,” her owner recalled. With Richard’s guidance, they set up Willow’s environment correctly, which proved to be a turning point.

    Transformative Results

The transformation in Willow has been remarkable. Her owner described the change: The results we have seen are outstanding. Willow is a completely different dog. She is calm, she trusts us and we are enjoying the bond we have with her now.”

While there’s still some work to do, they’re thrilled with the progress made. The hard work is behind us,” they shared, crediting Richard’s one-on-one sessions, puppy school and ongoing support via phone for making a lasting difference.

    A Thriving Adult Dog

Three years later, Willow has blossomed into a well-adjusted, happy companion. Reflecting on the journey, her owner shared, Willow is now 3 years old and thriving. She has grown into a happy, loving and well-adjusted dog, and we owe so much of that to the processes and methods we worked on with Richard.”

Richard’s consistent support and genuine care for both Willow and her family have been invaluable. “Richard has been incredibly supportive, regularly checking in on Willow’s progress. It is clear he genuinely cares about her wellbeing and about us as her family and pack,” they added.

    The DogTech Approach

The family’s experience with DogTech reinforces the effectiveness of Richard’s methods. As Willow’s owner put it, The training methods from Richard and DogTech truly work. I often compare it to going to the gym – consistency and commitment lead to great results.”

Thanks to their dedication and Richard’s expertise, Willow is now a calm, happy, and thriving dog who has become an integral part of the family.
